No-Nonsense Look at
Climate Change and Petrocollapse

by Janaia Donaldson on 28 October 2007 on Peak Moment TV

Peak Moment TV is a web-based television series on positive responses to energy decline and climate change through local community action. Peak Moment Television brings you examples of positive responses to energy decline and climate change through local community action. It focuses on:

• local food production
• renewable energy
• transportation alternatives
• "green" building
• local currencies and investing
• personal responses
• business & governmental

See Episode #81 of Peak Moment TV's interview with former energy analyst Jan Lundberg by Janaia Donaldson. Lungren is the founder of www.culturechange.org.

He has argued for some time that we are living at a peak of human innovation, information, wealth and health. But we're also at a peak of population and consumption, with rising temperatures and declining resources, fueled by cheap oil and gas.

Lundberg opens by singing "Have A Global Warming Day" and closes with "The Depaver's Song." In between is an unabashed look at climate distortion, peak oil, and declining ecosystems, all bringing a necessary collapse of our "pigging out" economy.

Jan envisions a future with radically curtailed energy use, and people coming together to find local solutions.
