Sierra Club Coastal Clean Up

WHERE:

Along the Kapaa Bike Path shoreline
Meet at the new "Mahelona" Pavillion in the parking lot.
about 3/10 of a mile North of Otsuka's about 3/10 of a mile South of South End of Kealia Beach

WHEN:

Saturday April 7 at 9 am - 11:30 am

DETAILS:
We will be picking up flotsam along the rocky shoreline.
(rocks are about 4 inches and smooth)

Running shoes, hiking shoes, or Gummis are necessary. No sandals.
People who do not wish to walk on rocky shoreline, can focus
their efforts along the concrete path --where sandals would be OK.

We'll supply the latex gloves and garbage bags.

Please bring Water, work gloves, picnic, rope cutters, wheel barrow (!) or dolly(!) for hauling the bags to the road for County pickup.

Each piece of plastic we remove is one less that can kill a seabird or sea animal.
