Townline Road Alignment

 Tree lined road cuts

straight through the lake;

a blue ribbon to the sky

on the opposite shore.

 

From this vantage point, it really looks as though the road runs under the lake and back up the other side. This is the second of two photos along the borders of the watershed that actually shows a view of Chautauqua Lake. To the south side of the lake is Southwestern Drive. The shot was taken on the north side of the lake on Townline Road, between West Oak Hill and Moon Roads. Townline Road is the boundary between the towns of Ellicott and Ellery.
