Meeting to discuss district issues. Including:
• Hanapepe River levees
• Hanapepe River Swinging Bridge & 1911 Bridge walkway
• Food Forum Community Garden initiative
• GMO corn fields & pesticide use
• Kaumakani Ethanol Plant
• Port Allen/Eleele 20 acre industrial park proposal
• Eco-Roundtable Meeting on February 26th

The upcoming meeting will be the third moku district meeting held in the Kona Central region. The attendance has been low, but the issues of import. We urge you to attend and express your concerns about our area.

On February 26th there will be a meeting of the Eco-Roundtable at the Peace & Freedom Convention Hall in Lihue. There each of the seven moku districts will report activities and have breakout sessions.

Also upcoming will be a meeting of the Kauai Food Industry Forum
Community Action Coalition with a focus on a district community garden network.
