This portion of the sidewalk of East Third near Spring Street has two rows of trees and displays two large modern pieces of sculpture. The trees do a good job of screening the convenient, but otherwise unattractive, concrete parking garage. There is no retail business on this side of the street, so the replacement of this widened sidewalk with a few parking spots seems particularly inept.
