Route 89 Lonely Church

 Starlings in the broken steeple

know the path leads no one

to the whitewashed door.

 

This white church on a hilltop appears to be still open from a distance. A closer look reveals that it has not been used for years, although caring hands still maintain what they can. The church is on Route 86 between Coes Road and Route 57 in the town of Stockton.
