Hunt Road Tree Fence

 The dark trees

divide suburban houses,

shading friends

and guarding secrets.

 

These trees reminded us of soldiers in formation, guarding the house beyond. This is suburbia--small lots closely spaced. A few blocks away on Fairmont Avenue is the strip, where development is currently running rampant. One effect is that water is diverted into culverts, and that animals no longer have access to streams or the lake. This shot was taken on Hunt Road near the intersection with Howard, in West Ellicott.
