Barber Road Beef Stock
Their eyes know
what beef cows are--
a process turning grass to burgers.

The intense stare of another species is always somewhat disturbing. These nervous looking beef cattle were clumped together in a tight group in the middle of an open field. They stared right into our camera lens, as if posing for the picture. We found them on Barber Road between Walder and Coe's Roads in the town of Stockton.
